But most of the market hawkers are not Russian, they come from central Asia countries, such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and so on. They are selling unbranded cloths and shoes, the prices of course cheap and reasonable. Besides, they sell many local foods, drinks, sweets, desserts, vegetables, fruits, meats, fishes and so on. The foods are sold there will make you so surprise, because I am sure that you will not find the foods in your country and very delicious. You should go to the market after winter, because you may be see different types of vegetables and fruits. You also can see some spices and different Asian products in the market. If you want to buy some cloths and shoes, remember to ask for discount, I believe that they will sure to give you a reasonable prices and make you happy, because they will sing in front of you to attract your focus. The market has a pets and fishing street, you can buy some fishes, tortoise, doggy, kittens, birds and so on. A lot of fishing tools are sold in the market too since Russian like fishing in river especially during winter. The market is near to Nizhny Novgorod Train station, the way to go to the market is very hard, remember to ask the direction from local people. If you are really cannot accept the unbranded products are sold in the market, you can go to Republika near to the market. You must go to Russian foods restaurant which is known as Yedok, the prices is not expensive and the foods are nice, I like their soup so much.
